He is survived by: his wife Betty Pate; his brother-in-law Robert Vowell of New Boston, TX; his great-nieces, Jasmyne Abby, Jade and Jacie Culverhouse of New Boston, TX; and also, Carolyn Dale Hicks, Christie Brossette and Karen Manley of Texarkana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
