We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020, at the age of 88, Maxine Kennedy of Nash, Texas, born in Junction City, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. D. Godfrey and Essie Godfrey; her siblings, Robert L. Godfrey, Richard Godfrey, Margaret Sharp and Marie Banks; and her grandchildren, Gregory Kennedy and Tasha Renee Kennedy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Kennedy; her children, Cedric Kennedy (Berneice), Diane Kennedy, Barbara Brooks (Bobby), DeLores "Pie" DeVose, Sherrilynn Jackson (Donald), Shelia Starks and Margaret Lewis; and her brother Tyrone Godfrey of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
