It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Byes (Nash, Texas), who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Byes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rehkopf and Bertha Rehkopf; and her husband Lester Byes. She is survived by: her brother Robert Rehkopf; her daughters, Ressa Houle Waller and Gaye Leverett; her son-in-law Stephen Waller; her son James Turner (Tracey); her grandchildren, Randi, Traci (Casey), Kristal, Keagan, Matthew and Mark; and her great grandchildren, Chey, Analise, Charlie and Lily Beth. She is also survived by many other extended family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569).
In lieu of gifts the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Texarkana in Mary's honor.
