He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spiropoulos and Natalie Spiropoulos; and his son Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son James (Margrette); his grandchildren, Mark, Daniel and Johnnie Watts; and his niece Darlene Anderson (Despina Sfikas).
