He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sherman and Ollie Sherman; his wife Ellen Sherman; and his granddaughter Rachel Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Sherman (Sherry) of Hooks, TX, Ann Sherman of Little Rock, AR and Theresa Greene of Texarkana, TX; and his grandchildren, Chris Sherman (Sunnie), Megan Sherman (Michael), Maddie Sherman, John Greene and Courtney Holmes (Javarus). He is also survived by 7 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Retreat Hospice, Buddy's Helping Hands, or the Sacred Heart Church Building fund.
