He was predeceased by: his mother Clara; and his brothers, Oran Scurlock Jr. and Dan Scurlock. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Scurlock of Wake Village, TX.; his daughters, Suzy Scurlock of Wake Village, TX. and Rebekah Minter (Jason) of Texarkana, TX.; his grandchildren, Colton Minter, Easton Minter, Jaxon Minter and Makenzee Minter; and his caregiver Vickey Clifton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Gideon's International or Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
