We bid farewell to Billy Hughes (Nash, Texas), born in El Dorado, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2024 at the age of 92. Billy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gordon and Bonnie Vey Hughes (Middlebrooks); and his children, Barry Ray Hughes and Lee Ann Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lee Hughes; his daughter-in-law Caroline Corbin Hughes of Texarkana; his grandson Cody Barrett Hughes (Lora); his great grandchildren, Barrett Reed and Rece Ellen of Bentonville; his grandson Cale Bryant; and his sister-in-law Glenda Lee of Granbury. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569).
