With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Brotherton of Naples, Texas, born in Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Brotherton and Whilemena Rosina Comboni; his siblings, Bob, Ed, Ruth, Beverly and Joe; his stepson Walter Naumann Brotherton Jr.; and his wife Shirley May Topps.
He is survived by: his stepson David Skidmore Brotherton (Luanne) of Daingerfield, TX; his sisters-in-law, Ellie Sturges of Connecticut, Orissa Maurer of Connecticut, Nancy Molnar of Connecticut and Cathy Brotherton of Massachusetts; his daughter-in-law Linda Brotherton of Burney, California.; his grandchildren, Jenny Young of Eureka California, John Brotherton (Angela) of Longview, TX and Sarah Im (Albert) of Rogers, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Zander Young, Estella Young, Esme McHome, David Im and Emily Im.
