With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Morris Craig of Naples, Texas, born in Douglassville, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardman Craig and Dovie Lee Kennedy Craig; his daughter Anissa Craig; his siblings, W. L. "Doc" Dodson, Frances Phillips and Charlene Craig; and his grandson Ben Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Craig of Naples; his children, Andrea Forte (Tommie) of Naples, Denise Craig (David Shaddix) of Marietta, Texas and Jeremy Craig of Naples; his sister Iris Russell of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Deidra Bell (James), Dylan Shaddix, Sam Phillips, Hannah Forte, Lekatrian Walton (Kevin), Tommorris Forte, Austin Shaddix (Rachel) and Colton Shaddix; his great grandchildren, Joplin Bell, Edmund Shaddix, Winston Shaddix, Eleanor Shaddix of Aniya Lewis, K. J and Kairo Walton; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Dodson, Mark Dodson, Kathryn Swindell, Becky Russell and Rachel Martin. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
