With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregorio Contreras Nerio of Naples, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionisio Contreras and Narcisa Nerio; his siblings, Severa Contreras, Jose Contreras, Facundo Contreras, Juan Contreras, Victorio Contreras and Modesta Contreras; and his grandson Markus Contreras.
He is survived by: his wife Lilia Contreras of Naples; his children, Mario (Gabriela Contreras), Josue (Andrea Contreras), David (Lupe Contreras), Gregorio Contreras of Monterrey, Mexico and Marta Contreras of Monterrey; and his siblings, Isidra Contreras of Monterrey and Maria Contreras of Santana, Texas. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Iglesia Cristo. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
