She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Higgins; her siblings, Ronald Joe Cobb, Tiny Bub, Odis Cobb, Jr., Thelma Reeves, Marie Doggett and Charlene Jaynes; her son-in-law Kelly Carpenter; her grandson Robert Holman, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Lauren Knight and Lindsey Knight.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Noel Higgins, June Higgins of Naples, Kenneth Higgins, Louise Higgins of Naples, Sam Higgins, Mary Higgins of Naples, Carol Carpenter of Omaha, Glenna Holman, Robert Holman of Lavon, Brenda Knight and Ricky Knight of Naples; her sister Mary Carpenter of Naples; and her grandchildren, Floyd Irwin Carpenter, Kelly Lance Carpenter, Thomas Higgins, Heather Smith, Charles Higgins, Colinda Holbrook, Patricia Warren, Tammy Clubb, Cindy Finney, Clay Higgins, Aaron Holman, Russell Knight and Mark Knight. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
