He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hyek and Rosie Hlavaty Hyek; his brother Ben Hyek; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hyek and Adolph Polasek.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Schoellmann Hyek of Nada; his children, Urbanovsky (Philip) of El Campo, Jan Dornak (Phil) of El Campo, Vicky Jo Pavlu (Larry) of Garwood, Kenny Hyek (Lauri) of Sugar Land and Brain Hyek of Bastrop; his grandchildren, Kayli Hyek (Kyle), Kyli Hyek, Kendyll Lewis (Jeremy), Katlyn Popp (Trent), Jessica Meyer (Bobby), Rebecca Brewer (Zack), Laura Dornak, Aubrey Pavlu and Ashton Pavlu; his great grandchildren, James, Jordan, Charlotte Lewis, Ryan, Reid Popp and Kailee Meyer; and his sister Elizabeth Polasek of El Campo.
Memorial donations in memory of Victor may be made to the Nada Community Center, St. Mary's Cemetery, Garwood Volunteer Fire Department or Nada Knights of Columbus.
