He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Korenek and Justina Janish Korenek; his wife Ruby Spacek Korenek; his grandson Josh Supak; and his siblings, Edward, Lambert Korenek, Edna Shimek and Jeanette Ham.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Korenek (Kelly) of Nada, Ronnie Korenek (Jennifer) of El Campo, Joyce Supak (Gary) of El Campo, Rita Poncik (Kenneth) of El Campo and LuAnn Wigginton of Nada; his grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Kyle Korenek, Christopher, Troy Korenek, Meagan House, Kelsey Stansberry, Jessica Baker, Amanda Rodriguez, Cody, Clay Poncik, Zachary, Colby Wigginton, Ashly, Jamie and Todd Macek; and his siblings, Clement Korenek of Nada and Alice Drapela of Lake Jackson. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
