Bernita Korenek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernita Korenek of Nada, Texas, who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Rudolf Gold; her husband Edward Korenek; and her siblings, Rudy, Albert, Edwin, Walter Gold, Lillie Gold Raaz and Hilda Gold Guenther.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Lesak (Richard) of Wharton, Rev. Greg Korenek of Ganado, Brian Korenek (Lorrie) of Nada and Duane Korenek (Michelle) of El Campo; her grandchildren, Lauren Lesak Caraway (Gabe), Kristen Lesak, Magen Lesak Geiger (Ethan), Chelsea Korenek Glueck (Brian), Rachel Korenek Valenta (Cody), Josh Korenek, Kurt Korenek, Madysen Korenek, Lannah Korenek, Kynleigh Korenek, Kyle Lesak, Tucker Korenek and Ty Korenek; and her son-in-law Richard Lesak. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in memory of Bernita may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, or the Diocese of Victoria Seminarian Education Fund.
