He was predeceased by: his parents, E. E. Roark and Ida Wallace Roark; his siblings, Ruth Petty, Modina Porter, Lucious Cooper, Eddie Vining, Elbert Roark and Jimmy Roark; and his brother-in-law Roberto Lozano.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Roark of Nacogdoches; his children, Cecilia "Sissy" Layton (Bill) of Virginia, Wallace Joseph Roark, Jr. of Virginia and George Roark of Virginia; his grandchildren, Amber Moody (Carl) of Virginia and Jeff Roark of Virginia; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Dillon Moody of Virginia; his brother David Roark of Nacogdoches; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Lozano and Myrna Lozano Garcia.
