He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pinkston and Hazel Weaver Pinkston; his uncle Howard Weaver (Cindy); and his stepmother Frances Ferguson. He is survived by: his cousin James Lewis Pinkston; his grandson Tyler; his wife Jennie Acosta Pinkston; his son Gerald Joe Quinn; his stepchildren, Billy Church (Mary), Bubba Lynn Church, Joe Wayne Church and Felicia Brown; his siblings, Darrell Pinkston, William Pinkston (Barbara), Lewis Pinkston (Judy), Vedra Wilt (Sean), Wanda Ivy (Steve), Krista Carter (Jody) and Mary Woods; his half-brother Travis Paul Woods (Kathy); his caregiver Darla Heaslet; his former wife Kathy Quinn; and his great grandchild Thomas Rogers. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Eastside United Pentecostal Church (3801 Center Rd, Nacogdoches, TX 75961).
