Robert Wayne Acklin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Acklin of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Graham, Missouri, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Acklin and Edna Grace Acklin (Summers); his wife Sylvia Joan Acklin (Rasco); and his brothers, Eugene Acklin and Jerry Acklin.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Stanco, Mark Acklin and Kelly Verney. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
