She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney H. Pitts and Virgie Lee Collins Pitts; her husband Perry Sweetser; her son-in-law Arthur Mac Johnson; and her siblings, J. T. Pitts, Ervin Pitts, Harvey Pitts and Madaliene Pitts Crawford (Homer).
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Maxine Johnson; her grandson Lowell Mac Johnson (Trecia); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Morgan Johnson Lima and Andrew Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home (2116 South St, Nacogdoches, TX 75964). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
