She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Crawford and Hazel Crawford; her husband James Howard Smithhart; and her father-in-law James G. Smithhart, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Ada Lee Smithhart of Nacogdoches; her children, Natasha Puente of Silsbee, T. J. Ross (Latasha) of Jasper and Dustin Ross (Ashley) of Jasper; her stepchildren, Sherry Smithhart of Nacogdoches and James Lee Smithhart of Nacogdoches; and her siblings-in-law, Randy Smithhart (Kelly) of Chireno, Wanda Puckett (Donnie) of Lufkin and Kim McClelland of Nacogdoches. She is also survived by 2 Brothers, 15 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lower Melrose Cemetery.
