It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn (Matthews) Self of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Matthews, Jr. and Alyce Corrine Hessel Matthews; and her brother Andy Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Self; her son Dan Self (Jennifer); her grandsons, Ty and Jake; her pet Lexie; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Self, Jane Alspaugh and Ralph Self. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
