With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Read of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Marie (Forsythe) and Alvin Leo Lane. She is survived by: her husband Coy E. Read of Nacogdoches; her daughter Debbie C.; her son-in-law Brian Hall of Nacogdoches; her son Coy L. "Buddy" Read of Nacogdoches; her grandchildren, Alicia (David Moss) of Nacogdoches, James (Ashley Hall) of Lufkin, Chelsea (Jason Flack) of Houston, Alex (Rusty Bonner) of Lufkin and Sara (Torrey Hendricks) of Rosevine; and her siblings, Pete Lane, James "PeeWee" Lane and Norma Selby. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
