With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry North of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Carmel, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olen North and Daisy Faye Duncan North; his uncle James; his aunt Mavis Hall; his parents-in-law, T. C. Permenter, Jr. and Jewel Marie Robertson Permenter; and his nephews, Marc Thomas Johnson and James Lynn Permenter.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marie Permenter of Nacogdoches; his sister Chrissy of Houston; his siblings-in-law, Betty Patterson of Bryan, Brenda Roland of Nacogdoches, Tammy Ritter (Joe) of Carthage, Pam Humbargar (Vaughn) of Kilgore, Kim Permenter of Nacogdoches, Glenn Permenter of Nacogdoches and Thomas Permenter III of Nacogdoches; his friend Jimmy Griffin; his cousins, Shirley Hall Abel of Neches, Linda Jean Hall of Neches, Keith Hall of Conroe and Josh Hall of Neches; and his goddaughter Rachel Pope. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
