He is survived by: his wife Sous Teng; his children, Malinna Teng Caraway (LaRoderick) of Nacogdoches, Steve Teng (Vorneath) of Nacogdoches and Vee Rin of Puyallup, Washington; his grandchildren, Bryce Teng, Stephen Teng, Maliyah Gaytan, Jordan Teng, Bryah Teng, Kris Teng, Jayla Caraway, Jesalyn Caraway, Cedrick Rin and Chancee Rin; his great grandchildren, Kash Lapoint-Teate and Devin Rin; and his sister Sopheap Pich (Sophannara) of Indianapolis, Indiana..

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (2116 South St, Nacogdoches, TX 75964). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
