It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Luna of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Faustina Luna (Ramos); his wife Lynn Luna (Hopson); his daughter Angie Luna Nerren; and his sister Mary Ann Jackson. He is survived by: his son Tony; his daughter-in-law Catheryn Luna of Lufkin; his daughters, Jamie "Lulu" (Cody Hamilton) and Jodie (Brandon Golden); his son-in-law Micheal Nerren of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Cody Luna, Kaley Linton, Dakota Linton, Ryley Luna, Skylar Luna, Sydney Luna, Jacob Hamilton, Jillian Hamilton, McKenzie Golden, Caitlynn Golden, Kennedy Golden and Carrington Golden; his mother-in-law Jo Teer of Lufkin; his brother Kevin; his sister-in-law Judy Luna of Nacogdoches; his sister Theresa; and his brother-in-law Dr. Taylor McKewen of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
