We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2023, at the age of 86, Jimmy Socia of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Timpson, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Windham and Virginia Socia; his siblings, Floyd Socia, Burnice Awalt, Wilma Jene Lout, Ruth Sanford and Charlie Windham; and his children, Keith Socia and Tammy Socia.

He is survived by: his wife Altha Faye Socia of Nacogdoches; his children, Ricky Lynn Socia of Nacogdoches, Penny (Paul Cain) of Carthage, Donna Seegers (Mark) of Dallas and Rodney Socia (Brandy) of Carthage; his daughter-in-law Vicki Socia; his siblings, Kaye Johnson, Pat Traxler, Lonnie Windham, Earl Windham, Richard Windham, Doug Windham, Gerald Windham and Robert Windham; his grandchildren, Spencer, Brittany Cain of College Station, Jeremy Cain of Crystal Beach, Jonathan, Dallas Cain of Lumberton, Nathan, Abram Socia of Lufkin, Shea Williams of The Woodlands, Vanessa, David Whitehead of Nacogdoches, Marcus, Lala Williams of South Carolina, Chance Socia of Nacogdoches, Blake Socia of Beaumont, Sophie Socia of Carthage, Chloe Neuman of Carthage and Clark Neuman of Carthage; his great grandchildren, Maddie Grace Cain of College Station, Miles Cooper Cain of Lumberton, Ella Kate Cain of College Station and Winston Spidle of Lumberton; and his caregiver Tracey.
