He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyman Devoe and Vera Irene Smelley (Parrish); his brother Allan Ray Smelley; and his daughter-in-law Kristen Libby. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Smelley (Marisa) of Garrison, Carey Libby of Nacogdoches, Christopher Libby of Pasadena and Darren Libby (Lindsay) of Garrison; and his siblings, Shirley Smelley, Susan Hubbard (Hal), Ann Standley, Debra Vitanza (Victor), Devoe Smelley and Dollie Maske (Gary). He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren.
