He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Ed Griffin and Dora Atkins Griffin; his son Marvin Segrest; and his siblings, Kay Cone and William Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Griffin; his children, Joe Segrest (Dana), Mark Segrest (Tammy), Tracy McMahan (Ed), Loyd Segest (Trish) and Floyd Segrest (Christina); his daughter-in-law Beverly Segrest; and his brothers, Dock Griffin, Tommy Hopson and John David Cone. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
