It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hannah E. Applegate of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Henderson, Texas, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Grindle and Lillian Grindle; her sons, Michael and Richard Applegate; her grandson Briar Cassada; her great grandchild Abigail Applegate; her parents-in-law, Johnnie Swink and Jessie Lee Applegate; and her siblings-in-law, Lee Swink, Emily Corley and Marie Applegate.
She is survived by: her husband David Applegate; her son Adam Applegate (Jenny); her daughter-in-law Kim Allen; her siblings, James "Norman", Earnest "Tony" Grindle, Lena Hager (Jerry) and Lilly Wyatt (Joe); her grandchildren, Lanie Vinther (David), Crystal Cassada, Jacob Applegate (Kresha), David Strength (Allie) and Addison Applegate; her great grandchildren, Levi, Garrett Cassada, Olivia Vinther and James Strength; and her siblings-in-law, William, Steve Applegate (Debbie), John Corley and Patsy Tucker. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
