She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert W. Summers and Minnie Lee Summers (Miller); her brother Caley A. Summers; her sons, Kai N. and Caley A. Sorensen; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Jacob.
She is survived by: her spouse Kai H. Sorensen of George's Episcopal Church; her sons, Niels K. Sorensen (Denise) of San Antonio and Eric W. Sorensen of Nacogdoches; her grandsons, David G. and Sean T. Sorensen of San Antonio; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Jacob of Austin, Carol-Lynn Caldwell of Hawkins and Barbara Summers of Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (502 E Starr Ave, Nacogdoches, TX 75961).
