She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Dennis and Mary Jo Littlefield Dennis; and her siblings, Pete Dennis, Ruth Dennis Cooper, Zillah "Sis" Owens, Raymond Howard Dennis, Truman Dennis, Infant Dennis and Lee John Dennis.

She is survived by: her children, Lynne Witcher (Tug), Terry Mercer and Richard Mercer (Sharon); her granddaughter Shannan Elizabeth Reardon; her great grandchild Elena Rae Bartholomew; and her sisters, Maelene Baker (Bart) and Vadine Wilson.
