He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Garland Smith and Elsie Marie Smith (Wheeler). He is survived by: his children, Morgan Smith and Bradley Smith (Blaine) of Nacogdoches; his brother Chuck Smith (Debbie) of Carlsbad, Texas; his grandchildren, Gabe Smith, Casen Smith, Phoenix Smith and Brennen; his nephew Clint Smith; his niece Cassie Hataway; and his cousins, Angie Quinn and Shelley Brown.
