He was predeceased by: his father Garnett Benjamin Stokes Sr.; his wife Ida Nell Stokes; and his daughter Beverly Anne Stokes. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Stokes (Pam) of Nacogdoches, TX and Ronald Stokes of San Antonio; his granddaughter Ryan Stokes (Shelby) of Longview, TX; and his great grandchild Laura Stokes of Lakeway, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
