It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Alene Bousman (Nacogdoches, Texas), born in Panola, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lolette Knight and Charles Hooker; and her husband Lindy Bousman (Lindy) of Nacogdoches. She is survived by: her daughters, Letty Bousman Bass (Bill) of Denver and Lynn Bousman Hughes (Craig) of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Will Bass (Brittany), Laurance Bass (Annie), Kristin Nelson (Ryan) and Carrie Bass; and her stepgrandchildren, Michelle Strauss (Robert) and Ryan Hughes (Celeste). She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters on her family.
