It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Moon of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Billie Scott; her sister Janice Ballard; and her siblings-in-law, Diane Mann, Barbara Turk (George) and Sonny Moon.

She is survived by: her mother Ruth Noble Scott; her husband Donald Moon of Nacogdoches; her children, Deborah Munt (Karl) of Midland and Michael Moon of Nacogdoches; her grandchildren, Lauren Munt, Samantha Munt, Robert Munt, Nicholas Munt, Mary Frances Moon and Alaina Moon; her sister Mary Standley of Waller, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Moon, Sherry Hahn (Clint), Debbie Broussard (Rodney) and Buddy Mann.
