It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Arnold in Nacogdoches, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Betty Jean leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Martinez and Dovie Steele Martinez; her husband Joe Arnold; and her sister Mary Rich. She is survived by: her nephews, Brian Rich (Mishelle) and Brent Rich (Kim); and her cousin Sherry Arriola.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors (5400 North St, Nacogdoches, TX 75965). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
