As Autry departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Autry. Though Autry may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Shears; her son Eric Dwayne Shears; her parent Bertha Daniels; and her brother John L. Chatman. She is survived by: her siblings, Willie Earl Daniels and Wilma Deckard (CH Deckard); and her granddaughter Whitley Hardeman. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (819 Ritchie St, Nacogdoches, TX 75964). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Sandridge Cemetery.
