He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Green and InaMae Johnston (Burt); his sister Elna Hanna; his wife Joyce; and his granddaughter Reneè Lyman.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Johnston (Brenda) of Hilltop Lakes, TX, Andy (Melissa Johnston), Randy (Chris Johnston) and Pat (Kim Johnston); his grandchildren, Mark, Kathy Summers of Nacogdoches, Joshua, Karina Johnston of Houston, Sarah Johnston of Houston, Anna Boykin (Tyler) of Austin and Tyler Johnston of Cleburne; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Johnston, Elyse Summers and Lincoln Summers.
