She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Commander; her parents, Billie J. Bailey and Howard French; and her siblings, John French, Bob French and Deborah Strahan.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Leonard (Tim) of Nacogdoches and Matt Commander of Nacogdoches; her grandchildren, Evan Leonard of Nacogdoches, Grant Leonard of Nacogdoches, Tristian Smith of Nacogdoches, Analyse Commander of Nacogdoches and Grayson Commander of Nacogdoches; and her sister Renee Hurst. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
