It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emilio Aguilar in Murchison, Texas, born in Marathon, Texas, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eusebio Aguilar and Virginia Aguilar; and his siblings, Eugenio, Elsa and Elicia.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Ortega Aguilar; his children, Selma Sikes (Tony) of Athens, David Aguilar (Amanda) of New Market, AL, Vianca Stark (Dusty) of Tyler and Natasha Lee (Jason) of Arlington, TX; and his grandchildren, Carson, Matthew, Noah, Evyn, Mateo, Abram, Seely and Everlee.
