He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Melvin McCoy and Videau Marie McManus (Christianson); and his siblings, John Randall McCoy, Kathy McCoy and Betty Shirkey.

He is survived by: his children, Brittany Irby (Brandon) of Murchison, Samatha Freeman (Aaron) of Crossroads and Jacob McCoy (Rani) of Murchison; and his grandchildren, Katelynn McCoy, Mikal Eubanks, Landon Eubanks, Raelee Freeman, Zalin Freeman, Avrie McCoy, Hazel McCoy and Ryder McCoy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
