He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ann Edwards Philen. He is survived by: his father Larry J. Philen of Murchison; his children, Brenley Ann Philen of Lindale and Blake Edwards Philen of Lindale; his brother Ben Philen of Keller; and the mother of his children Valarie Duke of Lindale, Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
