He is survived by: his wife Helen Wiley Day; his daughters, Chicquetah Lambert, Carol Hromadka (Joe) and Christy Day Adams; and his grandchildren, Jason Lambert (Amy), Brandi Fetherlin, Shane Mitchell (Wendy), Joseph Butler and Jacob Butler. He is also survived by grandkids and three great-great grandkids and one great-great-great grandkid.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751).
