He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Hernandez and Carmen Hernandez; and his sisters, Maria Leal and Gloria H. Susa. He is survived by: the mother of his children Joann Hernandez of Midland, Texas; his children, Benny Hernandez (Monica Reyes) of Odessa, Connie Salinas of Midland, Ruben Hernandez Jr. (Emealda) of Midland, Bobby Hernandez (Maggie) of Midland, Deacon Mike Hernandez (DeeAnn) of Midland and Sandra Olgin (Ruben) of Midland, Texas; his grandchildren, Sebastian, Nehemiah, Alexander, Andrew, Mathias, Katalina, Beniah, Carmen, Mariza, Samantha and Victor; his great grandchildren, Jason, Wyatt, Noelle, Emily, Ezra, Josiah, Desmond and Almanza; and his siblings, Guadalupe Lomeli (Leo Salinas) of Rochester, Gregoria DelaCruz of Hamlin, Janie Carrillo of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Hernandez (Emma) of Rochester and Andres Hernandez Jr. (Maria) of Rochester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
