He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hawes; his sons, Clint Hawes (Marlane) and Clay Hawes (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Hunter Hawes and Shelby Hawes; his pet Rosco; and his sister-in-law Louise Hawes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
