He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy Smith and Ima Jean Smith (Wasserman); and his wife Sue Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Smith (Deana) of Zephyr, Jonathan Smith of Brownwood, Jason Smith of Pagosa Springs, CO and Jennifer Driver (Dane) of Garden City; his stepdaughters, Shannon Mangus of Mullin and Kathy Armendarez of Mullin; his siblings, Sammy Smith (Patricia) of Mullin, Faylene Phillips (Chipper) of Mullin and Tyline Green (Tommy) of Mullin; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Jaylin, Hayden, Jordan, Dustin, Jonathan, Gage and Esme. He is also survived by numerous foster children, nieces and nephews.
