In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. D. Hale and Ira Hale (Powell); her husband Stanley Harbin; and her sisters, Wanda Acuff and Peggy Elliot.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Norrell (Tracey) of Portales. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
