With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josie Ovalle of Muleshoe, Texas, born in Fowler, Colorado, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Chavez and Annie Chavez (Cruz); her daughter Rebecca Gonzalez; and her brothers, Simon Chavez and Robert Chavez.
She is survived by: her husband Leonardo Ovalle; her children, Rudy Gonzalez of Muleshoe, Roman Ovalle of Muleshoe, Texas and Daisy Ovalle (David Rodriguez); and her siblings, Beatrice Campos of Muleshoe, Rachel Lopez (Mike) of Lubbock, Barbara Fuentes (Nino) of Texico, Roseann Gloria (Ruben) of Muleshoe, Texas, Leo Chavez (Olga) of Muleshoe, Juan Chavez (Sandy) of Muleshoe and Benny Chavez (Rosa) of Muleshoe, Texas. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
