He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Phillips; his sister Sue Rogers of Lubbock; his sister-in-law Terry Young of Muleshoe, Texas.; his children, Robby Young (Cathy) of Chillicothe, Laurie DeJong (Maxim) of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Denise Young, Terrence Collier of Oklahoma City and Russell Young (Lindsey) of Quanah, Texas.; his grandchildren, John Robert Young III (Heather), Caitlin Guggisberg (Josh), Dustin DeJong, Sigourney DeJong, Nemo DeJong, Hilaire Schenk (Matthew), Alexandra Hall, John T Young (Jordynn), Kara Young and Jeffrey Young; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Piper, Sutton Schenke and Laney Young; and his nieces and nephews, Vanessa, Amy Rodgers, Greg and Chris Young (Allison).
