It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jasper Woodson (Muleshoe, Texas), born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wilson and Dora Alice Woodson (Packer); his former wife Ella Jean; and his sister Earlene Pryne. He is survived by: his wife Celia Lopez; his children, David Woodson (Sheri) of Denver, Colorado, Janice Fulce (Rod) of Amarillo and Debbie Bethel (Jim) of Dumas, Texas; his stepchildren, Stephen Counterman, Patrick Counterman, James Counterman, Rueben Lopez, Iris Guillen, Peggy Cobos, Deliliah Garza and Chriselda Rojas; and his siblings, Melba Ruth Welch, Jeannie Cavender and Curtis Woodson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
