He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Switzer, Jr. and Vida Mae Lane. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Switzer; his sons, Kenneth Breckenridge and Anthony "Andy" Breckenridge; and his siblings, George Stacy, Donna Van Zandt (Goldman) and Beverly Ray (Goldman).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, or flowers may be sent to Kerrville Funeral Home.
